Gentle Grain Cleaning And Grading

These grain separating machines will clean and grade all types of crops or bulk material. A stable air flow maintains consistent cleaning action throughout the process. The use of air with rubber coated cleaning chambers keeps kernel damage to a minimum. These machines will separate both the light and heavy impurities as well as grade the thin, light inferior seeds from the plump, high quality seeds all in one single pass. This is important because planting the most viable seeds will improve yields up to 30% and helps the crop mature earlier and more uniformly. Selling high quality seed for a premium price which would otherwise be sold for commodity price can add value to a crop. Many farmers not only save money but make additional income when they use a grain separator. These machines bring great value to almost anyone growing or handling grain.

User Friendly Operation

Learning to operate these machines is easy and intuitive. Using a little common sense and watching the details enables almost anyone to learn the operation of these machines in just a few minutes. Once the control of the machine is learned, it can be operated by almost anyone without special training. The Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) makes switching between crops and fine tuning separating parameters both quick and easy. This feature provides the operator complete control over how the separations are defined. This single advantage makes the GS Grain Separator stand out from all other similar machines.

Separates By Density With Airflow

  • The heaviest impurities, such as stones, dirt, and other trash particles fall through the first output.

  • Seeds with the highest density fall through the 2nd and the 3rd outputs. Grain exiting these fractions are the best choice for planting with the highest quality having the highest germination rate.

  • The medium density seeds fall through the 4th and 5th outputs. Grain exiting these fractions are good for food or commodity grain.

  • The lowest density seeds and damaged kernels fall through the 6th and 7th outputs. The grain from these fractions are best used for feed. Grain collected from the 4th, 5th, and 6th outputs are sometimes re-cleaned to optimize value from the crop.

  • The dust, chaff, and the other light impurities are blown out the far end of the separating chamber.

Solution For Removing Disease From Grain

Aflatoxin, ergot, fusarium, vomitoxin and other diseases can be reduced significantly to acceptable levels. This process turns a worthless crop into a valuable commodity.

No Screens, Maintenance Free

The motor which runs the fan is the only moving part on the machine. There are no screens since the machine uses just air to affect the separations. There are no lubrication points and no spare parts are needed.

Low Power Consumption

The GS Grain Separators are champions in electrical energy economy. They have the lowest power consumption per ton of grain cleaned among all similar machines on the market.

Adding Cyclones

Reduced Dust Environment

A cyclone (CY) is designed to be used with the GS Grain Separator inside a building. Air movement within the separator occurs in a circular motion. This option significantly reduces the amount of dust and chaff in the grain cleaning environment.

No one can deny the need for cyclones to work with on-farm cleaning machines. These air purification devices are used on farms everywhere, and they’re an essential complement to any grain cleaning operation. Simple and economical, these cyclones work in conjunction with grain seed separators, and they eliminate pesky particles like chaff and dust—eliminating the respiratory issues farmers often face.

Here’s a look at a few of the most common questions surrounding cyclones and their use on farms everywhere.

Q: What is a cyclone?
A: A cyclone used on a grain cleaner is an accessory that works to reduce dust and dirt by filtering the air. These devices are often used in conjunction with grain seed separators to remove light impurities.

Q: What air purification devices are used with cyclones?
A: Air purifiers like this take the form of cyclones, blowers, and fans. Air purifiers or filters can be used with these devices to further improve their efficiency. There are also specialty products that can be used for better results for specific applications.

Q: How is a cyclone different than a blower?
A: Cyclones are designed to remove light particles from the air; blowers make fine dust more visible.

Q: How do the GS cyclones work?

A: The cyclones on the GS Grain Separators remove dust and light impurities from the air which passes through the crop material. When the air leaves the grain separating chamber and enters the cyclone, a sudden drop in static pressure and strategically placed baffles causes the impurities to drop out of the airstream. The scrubbed air is then returned to the separating chamber. This process is repeated in a continuous cycle for as long as the machine is running.

As the world’s population continues to grow, more and more consumers and producers are turning to niche products like organic grains. With this expansion in demand for certain goods, it’s only natural that suppliers have had to develop better ways of processing the goods. Today, instead of purchasing from a milling company who processes grain based on the current need, many producers have invested in custom grain handling equipment that allows them to process grain on their own schedule!

It is often difficult to know the best equipment for your needs, but with the wide selection of grain handling equipment available today, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by choices. This can make it difficult to choose what you need and what you do not.

We’re the trade show people! We love to show off our machines at trade shows. This has cultivated the development and growth of some of the most influential farming and ranching trade show expos of our time. We’re at the intersections and cutting edge of technology and agriculture, have a helpful and knowledgeable staff, great side-by-side demos and a well-stocked exhibitor hall.

Keeping pace with the ever changing agricultural technologies and tools, we have developed some real "set the standard" products that companies desire.

We had such great reviews for our agriculture trade show product line that we’re now taking that into cultivating new opportunities to showcase our products and services to new markets.

The agricultural machines, supplies, products and services we provide at these trade shows is what brings the industry together. We help bridge the gap between innovators and those who need their products.
